Luvlites - so darn cute!

Luvlite - Model V-3 - had a stamped steel base and was available in 12 colors with
3" round 25 watt bulb in 9 transparent colors.  Tucked into a black and white striped
box with plastic lid featuring the Design Line log, the Luvlite was sold in stores for $16.
The on/off switch could be found on the electric cord.   Were these lovable or did they
create romantic lighting?
